Customers must check the volumetric weight of the parcel which is a size measurement performed by carriers to determine the bulkiness of the item. This is used as the actual weight of the item and FedEx and CityLink courier companies uses Length x width x depth/6000 and DHL do the same but divided by 5000 in place of 6000. Actual weight and the volumetric weight many differ sometimes but the prices are charged for the heavier weight.
