What Are the Goods Not Allowed To Be Exported Through Courier?

Government of India had regulated some rules and regulations and following are the rules given which include the goods that not allowed for exporting and other export related terms.

  • There is no weight limit for courier export from one location to another.
  • The courier parcels are carried by passenger or cargo aircrafts.
  • The goods which are easily attracted by any duty or those exported under export promotion schemes are not said to be not exported through courier.
  • The charges for export through courier in India is said to be Rs. 25,000/-
  • Export of polished diamond, gems and jewellery under any scheme is said to be crime and will be sealed by the customs.
  • The export of goods is required to be presented for inspection and examination by Authorized Courier.
  • Export of goods is possible only after the permit proof is received from the authorities.
  • Bulk Drugs, Chemicals are strictly not allowed as exported items.
