Do My Courier Item Need To Be Boxed?

May 23, 2014 By admin Leave a Comment

The items which are to be couriered need to be boxed with protected double walled cardboard box. It can also be covered with bubble pack first for more security and then packed in the thermocol box. Any shipments which are not boxed properly are charged with extra charges.

Packing the goods in bin liners or other plastic bags are said to be inappropriate packages. All the parcels need to be packed to withstand the drop off from the conveyor belt during processing. All the boxes are said to be labeled along with stickers and customers have to ensure that the box is in good condition or not worn out.

The box packaging always protects the goods which are delicate from external damage.  Along with this box, the material inside should be cushioned properly or bubble wrapped.  Box should not be overloaded because it may collapse all of a sudden and proper box should be chosen by customers.

Sensitive objects like Mobile, Cameras, LED TVS, etc or any other sensitive materials should be packed with utmost safety precautions because during the delivery, these products have chances of getting damaged.
